Kit  Fee is $35 paid directly to the Instructor and includes designs, wool felt, Valdani perle cotton thread and embellishments to class.  The designs are exclusive to Play Date participants.

My play dates are designed to inspire your creativity by teaching my technique on a project you can finish instead of adding to your UFO list.  Each participant will leave with their own unique creation. No sewing machines required.  Students should bring two pair of scissors; one medium size and one small and sharp embroidery scissors.

Michelle May will provide a one-hour chat and trunk show about Folk Art Fusion and my adventures down the rabbit hole at the end of the day.

Guest Teacher and Speaker

Michele May

Michelle May, also known as "The Crazy Bunny Lady," has been infatuated with rabbits and textiles since she was six years old. In 2012, after having worked in the business world for more than 23 years, Michelle decided to take a "hop of faith" and pursue her passion for designing and teaching full time. With a love of paper cutting and her background in custom home building, Michelle created Folk Art Fusion, which is her signature style of Reverse Wool Appliqué.

Through her website business "The Raspberry Rabbits", she sells her book, designs, as well as original works.

Michelle appeared in four episodes of the 1300 series of Quilting Arts, a national PBS television program. Her work has also appeared in numerous books and magazines and she has been a faculty member at the Houston International Quilt Festival.

Michelle loves to teach and to inspire others with her "Play Dates and Chats." She travels all over the country, inspiring loyal friends and supports to tag along for exciting adventures down the rabbit hole.
